World Wide Walls is the working title of a new annual street art festival to be based in SALT District. The festival working group, including George Shaw of OiYOU!, has been working on this for months. Due to COVID-19 we have had to pivot multiple times, as lockdown, national financial pressures, international travel and the need for social distancing have impacted things like the availability of walls and funding, access to international artists, the way we originally envisaged delivering the festival, and the kind of concepts that would be powerful under different circumstances. A new year will bring fresh energy for this, with delivery date TBC!
