Alice in Videoland originally opened in Hereford Street on the 25th of May 1985 and has evolved into an immense, rich and eclectic collection... Alice now has 42 thousand film titles on DVD, plus two arthouse cinemas (36-seat & 38-seat). People, we are blessed!! Love this place!

This friendly, supportive and light-hearted networking group has been meeting in the central city since October 2009, standing the test of time, the challenge of the earthquakes and the rebuilding of the city and its businesses.
The goal is to help grow successful businesses and there are often projects happening within the group due to the strong relationships and business bonds that have been established. Over the years, members have developed close friendships, strong synergies and collaborations. There's always the opportunity for mentoring as members share their experiences and expertise with each other so everyone can grow together.

Join us for an inspiring and creative evening to learn the art of floral arranging with the incredibly talented Alex from The Flower Press.
Hosted within our lofty space at 181 High Street, immerse yourself in a hands-on workshop in an intimate group setting where Alex will take us through the “ingredients” of a good arrangement, tools, tips and tricks to make stunning designs in unique vessels.
Each ticket includes the generous arrangement of flowers and foliage you use on the night, the beautiful La Papier vase pictured here, as well as a few tools of the trade – all for you to take home.
